Twinprice is a free, open-source currency converter extension for Chrome and Firefox, published under the name Krlo. It helps you compare foreign prices while browsing by showing converted amounts beside the originals or in their place.

Who publishes and maintains Twinprice?
Both the Chrome Web Store listing and the Firefox Add-ons listing identify the publisher as Krlo. Those are the official installation links for Twinprice.
The project’s source code and maintenance history are public in somewordshere/CurrencyConversionAddon on GitHub. You can inspect the implementation, follow changes, or report a reproducible problem there.
Twinprice is distributed under the MIT license. See the changelog and release files for its development history. Browser-store releases can become available at different times; use your store listing for the version currently offered to you.
Where do Twinprice’s exchange rates come from?
Twinprice retrieves reference exchange rates from Frankfurter and performs the conversion inside your browser. Frankfurter documents its currency coverage and underlying official data sources on its website.
Converted amounts help compare prices. They do not include payment-provider margins, card fees, shipping, or taxes that are not part of the displayed amount. The reference rate can differ from the rate used when you pay. See the guide’s checkout example.
Recent cached rates may be used while fresh ones are unavailable. Twinprice warns after 48 hours and will not use cached rates older than seven days. The website demo and guide examples use illustrative rates rather than a live quote.
What does Twinprice read or send?
Price detection and webpage changes run locally in the browser. Page contents, selected price values, visited URLs, and browsing history are not sent to the developer or the exchange-rate provider. Exchange-rate requests include currency codes; as with normal internet requests, the provider’s infrastructure may receive network details such as an IP address.
Webpage access lets Twinprice detect and convert supported prices. Storage permissions keep preferences and cached rates, and the context-menu permission provides the right-click conversion action. The extension does not add advertising or analytics trackers.
